We’re pleased to announce that Vistry Group (Southern) has chosen building services specialist HBS Group Southern (HBS) as the M&E and solar PV delivery partner for 67 new homes at phase C4 of the award-winning Bovis Homes Boorley Park development in Hampshire.
The contract award comes off the back of HBS and its Mechanical, Electrical and New Energies divisions producing a consistent, quality-focused performance across previous phases during the last 4 years.
This dedication to quality and compliance by HBS alongside Site Management and all associated trades was recognised in June of this year, as the project won a prestigious NHBC Pride in the Job Quality Award.

HBS’ specialist project delivery teams are now excited to continue this successful partnership with the housebuilder’s Southern office and continue to deliver the highest quality standards to help drive forward the next phase of this new sustainable community.
When complete, Boorley Park will provide over 1400 new energy-efficient homes to the local area with 30% offered as affordable housing. It is currently being jointly developed by Bovis Homes, Bloor Homes and Linden Homes.

A trusted, long-term building services delivery partner for Bovis homes
For phase Bovis Homes Boorley Park C4, HBS will provide a fully integrated mechanical and electrical services package for 67 properties, covering a range of 3,4 and 5-bedroom house types. The contracted works will include the supply, installation and testing and commissioning of all gas, heating, water and electrical system requirements.
A dedicated HBS project delivery team made up of a Contracts Manager, Site Supervisors and a skilled M&E workforce will be focused on safely producing high-quality compliant installations that meet the client’s quality expectations and programme delivery targets.
Saving Bovis Homes time and money on meeting their energy targets
Bovis Homes sought the expertise of HBS’ New Energies to help ensure Boorley Park continues to achieve its sustainability targets for phase C4.
As the scheme’s first-choice solar PV contractor over the last 4 years, HBS has been delivering high-quality and compliant Complete In-roof Solar installations across 8 phases.
This next phase will see HBS continue to provide its end-to-end solution, taking care of the design, supply, installation, commissioning and handover of all roof-integrated solar PV requirements.
Through a value-engineered approach, a 41.6 kWp scheme over 10 x Complete In-roof Solar systems has been designed to meet a total kWh in line with the 19% carbon reduction target. This solution not only provided a considerable saving on the original specification but will optimise roof space and provide a sleek and aesthetic finish.
When finished, the Complete In-roof Solar scheme installed by HBS at Bovis Homes Boorley Park will help to sustainably power more than 400 Bovis homes. This will reduce carbon emissions by up to 160 tonnes per year and provide a valuable energy-saving benefit for homeowners long into the future.
