2020 has been a tough year for millions of people and businesses across the UK, and like many companies, HBS Group Southern has faced a great deal of challenges. However, thanks to the continued partnerships with our valued clients and support from supply chain partners, HBS has been able to adapt and continue to grow.
With our business firmly back on its feet, we wanted to play our part in helping organisations and communities who have not been so fortunate this year. Charities in particular have faced significant financial difficulties in 2020, hindering their ability to deliver support to communities nationwide.
This Christmas we have chosen to donate £5000 to Hampshire based charity Naomi House & Jacksplace. We hope our donation will help the charity’s wonderful staff and volunteers continue supporting children and young adults in hospice care.
Naomi House & Jacksplace is a hospice charity that provides specialist 24-hour care to hundreds of life-limited and life-threatened children, young adults and their extended families across the South. The charity offers respite, emergency, end of life and bereavement care.
James Bull, Managing Director, HBS New Energies said: “It is a pleasure to be able to support the incredible and unique work that Naomi House & Jacksplace do for the children and their families across the south. During these difficult times, I hope our donation will help in some way to ensure the hospices can continue to care for children and young people who have life limiting illnesses and make their Christmas a magical experience.”

This year, despite the pandemic, your donation will help us bring the joy and magic of Christmas to Naomi House, as we take the children on a magical multisensory journey around the hospice and to see Father Christmas in his grotto.”

Christmas at Naomi House & Jacksplace
Every year Naomi House & Jacksplace try and make Christmas truly magical for the seriously ill children, young adults and families in their care, whether they’re having a good Christmas, difficult Christmas, or their last Christmas.
The hospices become a Winter Wonderland, with lights, reindeer, Christmas trees, elves, candy canes, tinsel and decorations galore. Every day in December is Christmas Day, with Santa visits, Christmas carols, festive treats from the catering team, fun activities from the play team, and highly skilled nurses and carers at the ready to allow parents to be parents, not carers, and enjoy Christmas with their children.
