HBS mechanical delivered a full service plumbing and heating solution to Linden Home’s French Quarter, a mixed-use regeneration project in the heart of Southampton.
HBS Mechanical helped Linden Homes and Southampton City Council deliver a key aim of the city plan; to reinforce connectivity between the city centre and waterfront, bringing new vitality to the area. The French Quarter development included 175 new homes, office space, retail units and cafés. The mechanical division provided new build plumbing and heating services, completing all installations to a high standard.
Project delivery
- The mechanical division delivered a full service plumbing and heating solution covering the design, supply, full installation, testing, inspection and commissioning of all gas, heating and water system requirements.
- Works included; domestic hot and cold water, central heating, waste water systems, sanitary ware, gas supply and rainwater.
- We carried out the installations adhering to our rigorous health and safety procedures. All systems complied with Gas Safe Regulations, Building Regulations and the standards set by our in-house Quality Management System.
- The dedicated contracts manager, site supervisor and team of engineers worked with Linden’s site management team throughout the build and achieved a smooth and efficient installation process from start to finish. A bespoke O&M handover pack was provided for each house type for the benefit of the end-users.
