We’re pleased to announce that Highwood Construction has contracted HBS Group Southern to provide a complete mechanical, electrical and solar PV installation package for two further phases at North Stoneham Park in Eastleigh.
After demonstrating a strong performance on site supporting the current construction of 120 units at Avenue Park, HBS’s project teams are now looking forward to working in partnership with Highwood to deliver a fully-integrated service to an additional 192 new homes at this exciting development of 1200+ new homes.

North Stoneham Park which was recently crowned 2018’s Development of the Year at the South Coast Property Awards is being developed through a partnership between Highwood Homes, one of the South coast’s leading developers and Vivid, Hampshire’s largest affordable housing provider.
Providing fully-integrated expertise under one roof
HBS Mechanical and Electrical will be supplying a combined plumbing, heating and electrical installation service for all 192 units at Homewood Park. Lead by dedicated contracts managers, our specialist teams will manage all aspects of design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the gas, heating, water and electrical system requirements.

Helping achieve energy targets through solar PV
The Group’s renewable energy division, HBS New Energies has been selected once again as the development’s trusted solar PV partner and will manage all aspects of the design, supply, installation and commissioning of 143 roof integrated solar PV systems.
By value engineering a cost-effective in-roof solar solution, we have been able to optimise roof space and performance whilst achieving the local planning conditions and energy targets required.
Our in-house design team have specified roof integrated solar systems tailored to suit the multiple house types and apartment blocks. This ensured the solar arrays formed an aesthetic element of the building design for each new home – a key requirement from the client.
When complete, the 153 kWp new build solar PV scheme at Homewood Park will generate an estimated 128,993 kWh in annual zero carbon electricity and offset the developments carbon footprint by up to 67 tonnes per year.
