We’re pleased to announce that HBS Mechanical has been appointed as the plumbing and heating contractor for Bellway Homes Wessex’s latest residential housing development Rookery Park in North Bersted, West Sussex. HBS will provide a full package of plumbing and heating services for the 50 high-quality houses and apartments being developed at the scheme.
This latest win follows the plumbing and heating contract awards secured by HBS at Bellway Homes Wessex’s Cathedral Park in Chichester and Meadow View in Romsey during 2020.
It further strengthens our long-running partnership with the housebuilder’s Wessex office and shows their continued trust in HBS Mechanical’s site performance, installation quality, communication and aftercare.

Award-winning new build plumbing & heating services for Bellway Homes
Rookery Park will feature 35 homes for private sale, including a range of two, three and four-bedroom properties. The remaining 15 homes, featuring a mix of one, two, three and four-bedroom properties will be allocated as affordable housing for rent or shared ownership.
Lead by a dedicated SMSTS contracts manager, our professionally trained and qualified plumbing and heating workforce will manage the installation, testing and commissioning of all gas, heating and water system requirements at Rookery Park. The scope of works includes domestic hot and cold water and central heating, soil and wastewater systems, sanitary ware and rainwater goods.
Our in-house Quality Control Manager will ensure the highest standards of workmanship are consistently completed from 1st fix and 2nd fix to final installations throughout the 18-month build programme.
Over the last few years, HBS Mechanical has completed plumbing and heating services for several Bellway Homes Wessex schemes. These include the multi-award winning Oxlease Meadows in Romsey, Latitude in Bursledon and The Haven in Emsworth.
